BIO
Yooree Losordo (she/her) is the Director of Network Operations at Radiotopia from PRX. She is responsible for the day-to-day workings of the storied podcast network, supporting independent podcasts as they work towards achieving success on their own terms. Prior to Radiotopia, she was the founding Managing Producer of TRAX, a podcast network for tweens.
Some other jobs she’s held: bookkeeper, waitress, interactive agency account supervisor, temp at the MBTA bus depot, salesperson at J. Crew, administrator of a university research institute, administrator of a radical Puerto Rican artist collective, project coordinator for the 2nd largest 9/11-related insurance claim, English teacher in Finland. Everything she learned about work — and the conditions creators need to do their best work — she picked up at TADA!, the Drama Desk winning theater where she was a resident ensemble member for six years. In her time, she originated roles in six new musicals, performed at the White House and Late Night with Conan O’Brien, answered phones, struck sets, and TAed workshops.
She is trained to ideate, launch, and scale businesses. She is a graduate of the Center for Women & Enterprise Community Classroom, and won 1st prize in her cohort’s pitch competition. She was part of the inaugural class of Women on Main Fellows at the WIN Lab, a year-long accelerator for women-owned businesses at Babson College. Her business, On the Dot Books, was in operation 2014-2017, and was one of just two Asian-owned general interest bookstores in the US.
Yooree was born in Seoul, grew up in New York City, and now lives in Boston. Outside of work, she serves on the board of Hub & Spoke, the Advocacy & Funding Working Group of the AAPI Arts & Culture Collaborative (Asian Community Fund/The Boston Foundation), the Convener Council of The Jar, and the Boston Latin Academy Parent Council as Co-Chair.
